I wish to build a City.
I can see its silhouette
When I look up at the sky.
I can see its vast footprint on the ground.
I can hear the buzz and the laughter,
Of its yet-to-exist crowd
I can feel it’s energy throbbing and eminating,
Where there is just sporadic flutter now.
I am overwhelmed by my vision.
I feel so small
And don’t know where to begin.
Then I remember that
The vision is not mine.
Someone placed it in my heart.
He who created it
Has a way to make it real.
I sigh in relief.
And step forward
To lay the first brick
